Smart3DCapture version 2.1 is Now Released

comes with plenty of new features and improvements like the Web publishing, LAS point cloud export or the new Spatial Reference System.

Major features

  • New web publishing feature: Smart3DCapture customers can now host 3D models in S3C format on a standard web server, for remote visualization with Smart3DCapture free Viewer,
  • Dense point cloud export in LAS format: all Smart3DCapture models can now be exported in ASPRS LASer (LAS) format with color information on each point,
  • New Spatial Reference System (SRS) interface: it includes more than 4000 presets and can be extended with user-defined ones,
  • SRS of control points and productions are now configurable. In particular, coordinates of 3D models can be directly obtained in any desired SRS,
  • Improved LOD production management: new types of LOD (simple levels, quadtree, octree, Bing Maps) and improved node weight balancing,
  • Block import function now accepts MS Excel format,
  • Improved block management user interface,
  • ·Drastic optimization of the size of the project files: 3x-8x smaller in size…
