Geo-Spatial Mobile Innovations to be Revealed at GeoInt Symposium

October 9, 2013 By Editor

FORT COLLINS, CO — Red Hen Systems today announced it will reveal the company’s new Android-compatible video mapping system, the VMS-333, at the 2013 GeoInt Symposium, hosted by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, Oct. 13-16, 2013 in Tampa, Fla.

The new-generation, geo-referencing device, enabled by a modular design, simultaneously captures, integrates, and embeds multiple channels of multimedia surveillance data now viewable via an Android mobile device, and is to be demoed at Booth #1832.

The VMS-333 geo-tags images and video collected from handheld cameras, advanced aerial patrol technologies, laser range finders, infrared sensors and GPS receivers, fugitive gas sniffers and other devices. Applications for data collected with the VMS-333 include surveillance, corridor patrol, ground imagery analysis and much more.

Among the many clients using the system include U.S. Army Corps of Engineers channel management professionals who rely on Red Hen technology to alert them to changes and obstructions such as newly formed sandbars in waterway passages that could interfere with transportation routes.Red Hen Systems will also exhibit other specialized technology including:

  • Blue2Can, a geo-tagging instrument for digital still images that uses Bluetooth GPS technology
  • GeoVideo, ESRI Arc GIS workstation
  • IsWhere, Google Earth spatial media view
  • MediaMapper Mobile, an Android app that stores and geo-tags images with GPS coordinate information—compatible to VMS-333 and Nikon DSLR synchronization
  • RouteScout Falconview, a plugin mission-planning software.
  • Onsite and offsite training services
