Energy Mapping Firm Introduces New Online and Mobile Applications

December 11, 2013 By Editor

ENvision Express focuses on North American Pipelines while ENvision Navigator shows wells and infrastructure in the Eagle Ford Shale

HOUSTON, Dec. 10, 2013 — Energy mapping firm, MAPSearch, has developed two additional platforms for displaying and analyzing their oil and gas infrastructure data based on their existing online platform, ENvision.  ENvision Express seeks to fulfill the needs of users who require only the location of and basic information about pipelines and other North American midstream infrastructure. ENvision Navigator is a mobile application that runs on Apple’s iPad and displays well locations and infrastructure for the Eagle Ford Shale formation.

"Locational analysis used to be a very specialized field that required a years of training," said MAPSearch General Manager, Shawn McCarthy.  "Now everyone wants to produce energy maps just like they do road maps on Google.  We believe that these new products are a big step in that direction."

MAPSearch introduced its first venture into online energy infrastructure mapping, ENvision, in late 2011.  That full-featured platform continues to serve as an enterprise solution for customers who require project collaboration capability and more dynamic search and analysis functions.  More information about MAPSearch and its product lineup can be found at www.mapsearch.com.
