January 28, 2014 By Editor

Supergeo Technologies, a leading global provider of complete GIS mapping software and solutions, announced that SuperGIS Desktop 3.2 supports to export PDF, assisting users in directly navigating maps with PDF readers.

SuperGIS Desktop 3.2, the desktop GIS software, integrates abundant GIS tools to provide GIS users from various domains with a professional platform for geoprocessing and analyzing, displaying, editing, managing, and querying spatial data even faster and more easily.

SuperGIS Toolkit in SuperGIS Desktop 3.2 allows users to export layers as geospatial PDF files, and therefore employ the saved geographic data directly through all kinds of PDF readers.

Users can also edit features and attributes in SuperGIS Desktop 3.2 and export the project files as PDF files to improve the portability of geographic data. The geographic data now can be used by non-GIS experts easily on a variety of device platforms with PDF readers.

Compared with general PDF files, geospatial PDF containing layer data can be used to display specific layers. Users can select any layer under Layers or features to display and query on PDF. As a result, the distribution and spatial relationship of geographic data can be easily viewed by GIS experts and non-GIS users.
