eGPS Solutions Strengthens Survey Support with Addition of Leica Geosystems Solutions

July 28, 2014 By Editor

A recognized leader in survey training, service and support in the Southeast, eGPS Solutions is now an authorized dealer for Leica Geosystems.

NORCROSS, GA, July 28, 2014 – eGPS Solutions, Inc., a trusted provider of survey training, service and support based in Norcross, Ga., has signed an agreement with Leica Geosystems to become an authorized dealer of Leica Geosystems’ survey solutions. The company will focus on popular productivity-boosting solutions such as the Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation and Leica Viva TPS imaging total stations as well as the Leica FlexLine plus and Viva GNSS series.

“We’re excited to represent the quality and real-world performance of the Leica brand,” said Lonnie Sears, LS, president of eGPS Solutions. “We’ve had a number of inquiries already about the MS50, which is the best total station on the market. Its ability to provide high-quality laser scanning with traditional survey workflows is helping surveyors expand their services. Another favorite is the Leica Viva TS12 robotic total station, which is a workhorse at an attractive price. And for anyone who needs to measure longer distances without a prism, the TS15 is a proven solution.”

eGPS Solutions is known throughout the Southeast for its surveying expertise and outstanding customer service. Staff members hold survey licensing in six southeastern states as well as advanced training accreditation. The company frequently hosts free training sessions called "Roundtable Meetings," where professionals come together to advance their skills, earn education credits, meet other users and stay informed of industry updates. eGPS Solutions also offers advanced training and consulting.

“The reputation of eGPS Solutions for providing top-quality education and support is perfectly aligned with Leica Geosystems’ focus on supporting innovation,” said Andrew Hurley, Leica Geosystems’ Geomatics Business Manager – NAFTA. “Surveyors in this region will benefit from the alliance between these two leading organizations.”
