The GoSmart Clip for Smartphones – Distracted Driving The Safe Way! Ohmy… the NoClip!

September 18, 2012 By Editor

My Lord, seriously?? Ok, I’m gonna rant a bit, mainly because I’m getting pretty damned sick of seeing distracted drivers with cell phones in their hands putting you, me, and everyone else at risk! Now we have the GoSmart Clip (gosmartclip.com)… apparently mounting your iPhone right on your steering wheel is supposed to be a safe alternative.. yes indeed, by placing the device right on your steering wheel you can now “safely” check email, text, make calls and surf the web while you head to work on the Interstate! I’m sorry but Puhleaze… distracted driving is against the law in most places as is using a handheld device while driving.. yes even if it is sitting on the dashboard or mounted to something, you are still distracted and yes, you will likely kill yourself or someone else. Do yourself a favor, put your smartphone on silent, place it in the glove box, and then pull it out when you get to your destination… I’m thinking this may be better named the NoClip! you can see more about the GoClip if that happens to be your thing in this official PR release from the company
