Ok, I know this is off topic but yes indeed, I am a Peyton Manning fan as well as a Broncos fan so you can’t blame me for sharing this interesting data visualization (info graphic) and interesting nugget. SeatCrunch, an online secondary ticket marketplace, has released an infographic that outlines the average ticket prices for NFL home opening games as displayed on their site. Catching the Broncos home opener and first glance of Peyton Manning in Blue and Orange will cost you some big $$… for the budget conscious you may want to head to Detroit! The following is the list in order of opening day avg ticket price:

  1. Denver Broncos – $701.38
  2. NY Giants – $526.92
  3. Chicago Bears – $525.73
  4. Green Bay Packers – $500.87
  5. New England Patriots – $430.22
  6. Pittsburgh Steelers – $350.51
  7. New Orleans Saints – $327.00
  8. Seattle Seahawks – $326.25
  9. Philadelphia Eagles – $285.12
