Cool news from the campus in Redlands CA today as Esri has announced that ArcGIS Online has localized for another 9 languages adding support for Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Now users of the free to access WMS can easily alter their language setting – simply login to your account (yes you need to create a user profile) then under your settings simply select one of the many available language options. According to the official announcement, localized data products are also made available to users, thanks to specially curated content via a number of International Esri disctibutors.
