GIPMC Standardizes International Credentials for Contact Center and CX Leaders

September 15, 2026 By GISuser

September 2026: The Global Institute of Professional Management Certification (GIPMC) has introduced a unified credentialing structure for contact center and customer experience leadership, giving organizations a single, internationally recognized benchmark for evaluating and developing CX talent.

A Fragmented Profession Finally Gets a Common Standard

Customer experience leadership has grown into one of the most consequential functions inside modern enterprises, yet the profession itself has never had a consistent, portable qualification behind it. Titles and training vary wildly from one company to the next, leaving hiring managers with little reliable way to compare candidates across regions or industries.

GIPMC’s new credentialing structure changes that dynamic, giving contact center and CX professionals a recognized qualification that carries the same meaning wherever it’s held.

Credentials Anchoring the New Standard

The unified structure is built around three of GIPMC’s established qualifications:

  • Call Center Operations Associate (CCOA): Establishes foundational competence in day-to-day contact center operations and service delivery
  • Call Center Operations Manager (CCOM): Validates leadership capability across performance management, escalation handling, and team development
  • Customer Experience Service Professional (CESP): Recognizes advanced proficiency in designing and improving end-to-end customer journeys

Together, the three qualifications form a progression path, allowing professionals to move from operational competence toward strategic CX leadership under one consistent credentialing umbrella.

Anchored in Recognized Educational Governance

GIPMC holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2025 accreditation, placing its credentialing operations under the same scrutiny it asks certified professionals to meet in their own roles. That governance now extends into the CX and contact center space, giving employers a qualification they can trust without independently verifying its rigor.

Bringing Consistency to a Growing Discipline

As customer expectations climb and CX increasingly shapes brand loyalty, businesses need a dependable way to identify leaders who can meet that pressure. It’s a gap GIPMC built this structure to close.

“CX leaders are judged on customer outcomes every single day, yet most have never had a credential that reflects the depth of what they do,” said a GIPMC representative. “This gives the profession something it has long been missing: a shared, internationally understood standard of competence.”

That’s ultimately what the new structure offers: a common language for competence across a discipline that has operated without one for far too long. Organizations and professionals can view the full CX and contact center credential lineup on GIPMC’s website.
