Click Task Jobs

Click task jobs can seem like a convenient way to earn money online, but they often carry significant risks. While these tasks may promise quick payouts for simple activities like clicking on ads or completing surveys, they frequently turn out to be scams or low-paying gigs that require substantial time investment for minimal return. Moreover, engaging in click tasks can expose you to potential security threats, such as malware or phishing schemes. It’s essential to approach these opportunities with caution, thoroughly researching the legitimacy of the platform and reading reviews from other users. Prioritize reputable websites that offer transparent payment structures and clear guidelines for completing tasks safely. By exercising vigilance and skepticism, you can protect yourself from falling victim to click task job scams and focus on pursuing legitimate and rewarding opportunities online.

How it Works

The initial contact is typical, you receive a message from a so-called job hunter asking if you are interested in a work-from-home opportunity. If so they promise to connect you with the company. The initial contact is made via a messaging app, likely WhatsApp.

Once you connect with the actual “employer” they give you the pitch… you know, it’s easy work, just an hour a day max, and you will be able to earn a large sum of money that grows larger and larger the more you work – in this case the click task pay along with a “salary” of up to $7500.

Example

In this particular example, the opportunity comes from a company called EcommerceTools. They point you to a website that looks legit and then the training begins. A “manager” will walk you through a sample work task using their account. You simply complete a set of click tasks, about 40 of them where you just click submit and you believe you are posting a review of sorts for a product. You earn 10-75 cents per click. Once done you see you that you have earned a sum of money for completing the task. Here’s the kicker though. Your working app must be connected to a crypto wallet, in this case they ask you to use MetaMask. You can only withdraw your fund to your wallet once the task is complete AND when a “manager” initiates the transaction.

But here’s where it gets sketchy. They will allow you to complete one or two sets of tasks and you will believe that you have earned about $200 – this is awesome, right?? Then you start your next task, you keep clicking, and all of a sudden you cannot continue. Your balance accrued now, instead of showing you have about $200 will show a negative number like -$50. Most people at this time will then to themselves, what the heck is happening? You must then connect with a manager and they will explain to you that you are VERY LUCKY and have received a LUCKY BONUS task! In order to continue you will need to bring your account into the positive by depositing ETH crypto from your wallet.

Once you are in the positive you can continue to earn. When you do this and start working again, after a while it WILL happen once again but this time your account balance will now be something like -$100. You can see where this is going. At this point they will attempt to convince you that it is ok and there is no problem. If this continues, soon you will hit a point where your account will show a balance of -$2000 etc…

Note, something else to be aware of, this company also offers a special “anniversary event” where you can greatly increase your earning IF you add even more money (ETH) to your account!

BEWARE. These scams are typically known as “Click Task” work-from-home job scams. You can go ahead and Google that term to see that this has happened to many people and lots of them report losing thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars. There are legitimate ways to earn income online, however, be careful and do your homework first.
