How can I extract contact information and phone numbers from websites

Getting a prospect’s contact info, whether it’s a phone number or an email, is a win for marketers.

We often harvest contact info for several reasons that include, to:

  1. Build our email lists/phone books;
  2. Reach out to a high-authority website we’ve recently linked to in our content, about a possible shout-out, or link back;
  3. To extract leads from web pages, etc.

And luckily, there are great tools that let you grab contact information from websites with little effort.

In this article, we’ll show you 2 efficient contact extraction tools, and quick guides on how to use them for lead generation.

How can I get contacts from web pages?

Extracting contacts from web pages is pretty easy with the right tool.

Advanced extraction software helps you scan and extract contact info from websites.

Some of these tools come as browser extensions that you can install to your favorite browsers, while others take the form of standalone desktop programs. At your command, they’ll crawl through web pages, and find the emails or phone numbers that may be relevant to you.

The extracted contact details can automatically be added to your email list/phone book, or you could simply copy-paste them.

Where does all this contact info come from? On an average blog web page, you’ll find contact info belonging to page authors, Internet users who drop comments, etc.

A step-by-step guide to hunting contacts with Atompark Software (Email Hunter and Lead Extractor)

Here’s a quick guide on using Atompark’s Email Hunter and Lead Extractor tools to hunt for contact info online.

Getting started

Let’s get you started with both tools.

Atompark’s Email Hunter works specifically for web scraping for email addresses.

First things first, purchase and download the software from Atompark’s official website and install it on your PC.

As for the Lead Extractor tool, you can collect more than just emails. Almost any contact info available on web pages can be extracted by this tool, primarily phone numbers, emails, and even personal addresses.

If you’re interested in more than just emails, the Lead Extractor is the tool to go for. You can download the desktop program from Atompark’s official website, install it on your PC and let’s begin extracting.

Using the program – searching for contact info

Both tools work in a similar fashion. When you launch any of the programs, you’re greeted with screens like what we have below. On the left, we have the Lead Extractor, and on the right is the home screen of the Email Hunter.

Now, in both cases, all you have to do is input a website URL from which to perform the email and number extractions.

But there’s something more interesting to note here. You can also search for contacts based on keywords. This works for both tools. Let’s say you want the contact details of ‘dog owners in California’. Simply type that in the search bar at the top. Then click the URLs tab to provide a list of websites from which to look for these contacts.

Click ‘search’ and wait for your results.

Save extracted addresses

When results are ready, simply click on the ‘save’ button to save these contacts to a file, or click ‘copy’ to copy the list to your clipboard. You can then import or paste these contacts into your email management tool.

Conclusion

Finding emails on the Internet is easy with the right tools. Start finding more leads today, by collecting contact information (emails and phone numbers) from all the websites you visit. Use Atompark’s phone number extractor and Email Hunter for the best results.
