The Powerball Prize and Payout Chart – Check your ticket to see if you won anything

November 8, 2022 By GISuser

You would think that it would be extremely fast and easy to determine if you won a prize on the Powerball lottery. Granted, there are major prizes, however, most people need to know if they matched a couple of numbers and if so, what is their prize?

Sadly, if you ever go search the web for the answer you may get led down an endless rabbit hole of click bait and fluffy blog articles.

Well, fear not as we’ve shared a simple Powerball prize chart here that quickly explains if you have won anything at all in the lottery draw. Note, to be safe and secure, you should always sign your Powerball ticket when you buy it and also include your name and address on it in case it gets lost.

The Powerball Prize and Payout Chart

Sad to say, simply matching one or even two numbers on the Powerball will not get you a prize. BUT, be sure to check those numbers carefully, especially the Powerball number because simply matching the PB will earn you a $4 prize (odds 1 in 38). However, this is where the Powerball payout gets rather weird (and unfair), if you match the Powerball AND one number (odds 1 in 92) you will win just $4 as well. Nobody ever said that the odds are fair or even logical!
