Des Plaines, IL (August 15, 2022) URISA is pleased to announce the results of its 2022 URISA Board of Directors’ election. Tom Fisher will serve in the position of President-Elect and Josiah Burkett, Bernadette deLeon, and Matt Gerike will serve as Directors. They will all begin their three-year terms at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2022 in Boise.

Tom will serve as President-Elect for one year and his term as President will begin at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2023.

I plan to continue the tradition of excellence set by the trailblazers before me and leave a legacy of servant leadership for upcoming geospatial professionals to aspire to.
