Olight Warrior Mini 2- EDC flashlight

May 11, 2022 By GISuser

The mobile phone flashlight can only meet the daily simple lighting needs. If it is turned on for a long time, it will consume a lot of power, which will cause the battery power to drop rapidly and affect the battery life. The mobile phone will also heat up very quickly, and the overheating of the phone‘s motherboard may cause bad spots on the screen, or even burn up the motherboard. Adding a flashlight to your EDC equipment is by no means the preserve of survival freaks or flashlight enthusiasts. Some netizens said: We will carry umbrellas with us for a 50% chance of rain, but we will not carry flashlights for 100% dark nights. Many things in life are unpredictable, but the arrival of the night is certain.

If you have to turn off the lights and lock the door after working late at night, it is much more convenient to have a flashlight in your hand. If the office corridor has turned off the lights or walking to the bus station or subway station is too dark, then turn on your portable flashlight, for a moment to light up the road ahead, both safe and secure, do not have to fumble in the dark forward. Today I introduce the Olight Warrior Mini 2 EDC flashlight.

Unpacking

PACKAGE CONTENTS:

  • Warrior Mini 2 (Battery Included) x 1
  • MCC3 Magnetic USB Charging Cable x 1
  • Two-Way Pocket Clip x 1
  • Lanyard Clip x 1
  • Lanyard x 1
  • Carabiner-Style Ring x 1
  • User Manual x 1

The 14cm height outer packaging proves that it is small in size. In addition to daily life, it can be used in more fields such as tactics, outdoor, self-defense, and EDC.

Olight provides a convenient out-of-the-box guide. The charging position of Warrior Mini 2 is at the rear, and the magnetic interface charger is more convenient, and it can be automatically adsorbed directly close to the charging position.

Flashlight details

The length of the flashlight is about 11.8cm, which is shorter than the ordinary pen and has quite good portability. The whole body is made of aluminum alloy, and the handgrip parts are all threaded. The anti-slip design is quite good. Side button, single press to turn on and off, and has a memory function at the same time. There is a dot in the center of the button that is an indicator light, red for charging and green for full. The three-level power indicator clearly shows the remaining power of the battery, which is convenient to know the power status at any time: green light for power >60%, orange light for power between 60% and 10%, and red light for power <10%. The tail button is the charging position, but also the tactical switch, which is more convenient for tactical operation. Both the two-way holding clip and the bottom hand rope clip are detachable and can be hung on a hat or backpack for easy travel. The high-performance cool white LED can output up to 1750 lumens and has a maximum range of about 220 meters. At the same time, it has a built-in light sensor, which can actively reduce the brightness when encountering obstacles in front. The wave-type stainless steel attack head has certain combat effectiveness in self-defense fighting. Unscrew the barrel to take out the built-in battery. The 3500mAh 1865 lithium battery provides a guarantee of long battery life. The flashlight weighs about 122g, which is lighter than the iPhone 6s.

Use experience

1. Small but powerful, pocket self-defense equipment

Hang it in your upper body pocket and waist, you can go camping outdoors.

2. Tactical double keys, light up horizontally and vertically

Based on the length of 11.8cm, it is easy and simple to operate with one hand, and it is more convenient to press the button on the side of the body with the thumb. In outdoor activities, it is more convenient to press the tail button with the thumb, and it does not affect other fighting protection actions.

3. Brightness adjustment, cycle output

In the power-on state, long-press the side button to output the current brightness, and change it in the order of Moonlight -> Low -> Medium -> High -> Low.

4. One-key Strobe, tactical mode

Quickly press the side button 3 times to enter the Strobe, and exit after a single or long-press. The tail button needs to be pressed again while holding down the side button to switch the mode. After entering the tactical mode, press the tail button again to enter the strobe mode, and release the button to exit.

5. Outdoor survey, safety guarantee

Brightness up to 1750 lumens, range up to 220 meters, can be used in an extremely dark outdoor environment.

6. Safe Proximity Protection

There is a built-in light sensor on the head of the flashlight. When it encounters an obstruction, it will actively reduce the brightness. If it continues to be blocked for one minute, it will automatically shut down to avoid safety hazards such as high-temperature burning caused by excessive lighting for a long time.

7. Packed With Features

Exquisite strike bezel, battery level indicator, safety lock mode, IPX8 waterproof design; aluminum alloy shell design, with resistance to 1.5 meters drop. Fearless use of harsh environments is safe and reliable use.

Warrior Mini 2 is an upgraded version of Warrior Mini, with a small size, long battery life, long-range, side and tail dual switch, built-in light sensor, and other features. It can be used for home use, outdoor camping, hiking, or security applications. Especially the wavy stainless steel attack head design on the head, in addition to being beautiful, also greatly increases the tactical combat attack power. For outdoor explorers, it can be described as an effective small flashlight design.
