Des Plaines, IL (January 24, 2022) URISA’s 60th Anniversary Conference, GIS-Pro 2022, will be hosted in Boise, Idaho, in partnership with the Northwest GIS User Group and the Northern Rockies Chapter of URISA. All three organizations are pleased to invite presentation proposals from the geospatial community.

Abstract Submission Deadline: March 15, 2022

Share your knowledge, experience, and practical use of geospatial technology with a large community of geospatial technology practitioners and managers in public agencies, private sector companies, academia, and not-for profit organizations in North America and internationally. Presenters at all stages of their careers are invited to submit. All proposals will be considered.

Presentation Topics to Consider

The Planning Committee has provided the following list to consider as general presentation topics with subtopics further detailed online within each category.

  • GIS Leadership & Management
  • Community Resiliency & Sustainability
  • Equity & Social Justice Implications of GIS
  • Government & Land Management
  • Data Collection & Management
  • Spatial Analysis & Modeling
  • Geospatial Innovations

The list is not meant to be restrictive, but is provided to stimulate ideas. Propose ideas geared to GIS beginners, mid-career managers, or the leaders in the field.  Discuss your success stories, your challenges, or even your failures.  All proposals received will be reviewed and considered for the program.

Proposal submissions are due March 15, 2022
