Cutting and machiningThe Avidemux user interface allows you to cut and assemble videos to the frame and offers various filters and effects that can be applied to the video track. This includes, for example, cropping, rotating, deinterlacing, color adjustments, noise reduction, image sharpness control or subtitles.
Further filters can be retrofitted using plug-ins. Audio can be arranged in several tracks and also adapted, for example, by means of normalization or frame rate adjustment.
The video editor supports the most common multimedia formats such as AVI, MPEG, MP4, DV, VOB, OGM, FLV, MKV or WMV as well as BMP, JPEG or PNG as image files and in the audio area, for example, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, AC-3 or PCM. The output files can optionally be prepared using presets for specific devices such as PlayStation Portable or DVD players. Experienced users can also access features such as command line operation, batch processing and the automation of program functions using JavaScript.
