5 Myths About Online Casinos in Poland

August 12, 2021 By GISuser

Many myths about online casinos continue to spread. Fortunately, most of them are false. Here, we’re going to dispel five of the most common myths you may have heard about online casinos in Poland.

We spoke to Jacek Michałski, who knows all about online gambling in Poland, and has heard it all before. To get more facts on the world of online gambling, you can see more of Jacek’s work here.

Online Casinos Are Rigged

This is perhaps the most widespread online casino Poland myth of all. Many people believe that online casinos are nothing more than a scam designed to prevent their players from racking up big wins. It’s based on trust, because unlike at a land-based casino, where you can see the action unfold, a computer is responsible for performing most actions.

The truth is that, while some unscrupulous online casinos do exist, licensed casinos aren’t rigged. They use a Random Number Generator (RNG) to produce the results of all the games. An RNG is a fair and safe technology, as it’s unpredictable and produces a random result from each wager placed.

Winners Don’t Get Paid

This is one of the craziest myths out there. There are countless stories of players who have won and were paid big money at online casinos. Some of these players were complete novices and had no prior experience of playing at an online casino.

Yes, there have been instances of players that weren’t paid. But you won’t find this happening at a reputable, licensed casino. The reason for this is should a player not be paid, he could inform the body that licensed the casino, who would then proceed to investigate the matter.

Should the player turn out to be right in his claim, the online casino would not only be forced to pay out, but they may also lose their license. You’ll find that nowe kasyna online are licensed, and you’ll have no problem being paid out by them.

Too Much Winning Can Freeze Your Account

Another rumour states that online casinos have a system in place to freeze any accounts that win too much. This one fails to make any sense, as the odds lie in favour of the casino in the long run. It benefits them for the player to keep on playing.

Of course, no player is going to win all the time. And there are records that prove to play more after winning only favours the online casino. So, they’ll want players to play as much as possible to make the most of the odds that favour them. It makes no sense for an online casino to shoot itself in the foot.

If you notice that an online casino game freezes, the most likely reason is that you have a connection or compatibility issue. This is even more likely the case if you’re playing on an older mobile device.

You Can’t Win With a Bonus

Online gambling Poland platforms tend to offer some very generous bonuses. However, one myth claims that you just can’t win with them. That’s based on select bad experiences. In reality, you can win big money with a bonus.

Many players miss the fact that these bonuses come with their own terms and conditions that must be met. The most commonly missed point in those T and Cs are the wagering requirements.

Wagering requirements state that the bonus amount must be played a certain number of times before the player can cash out their winnings. Welcome bonuses tend to have the strictest requirements, while others provide better leverage.

Online Casinos Are Addictive

This myth extends to suggest that online casinos are more addictive than their offline counterparts. This is taking things a bit far. There’s always the potential for addiction when it comes to gambling.

The potential for online casinos to become addictive lies in the fact that you can access them wherever you want, while you actually have to make an effort to visit an offline casino.

You also aren’t restricted to just a couple of local casinos when playing online, as there are literally thousands to choose from. The bottom line is that no substantial research has been undertaken that proves online casinos are any more addictive than land-based casinos.

Conclusion

If any of these casino myths were holding you back, now you know the truth. You can enjoy playing the countless number of games available with confidence that you can win, and win big.
