Post-it Brand Releases Innovative Post-it App for Android

ST. PAUL, Minn.-Post-it Brand from 3M releases its Post-it App for Android, bringing the innovative digital tool that instantly captures and digitizes Post-it Notes to Android users. The Post-it App seamlessly bridges the analog and digital worlds by capturing, organizing and sharing ideas written on Post-it Notes during brainstorms and meetings so ideation and creativity can continue virtually anywhere.

“The Post-it App creates a seamless experience for Android, from capturing content to sharing and recording ideas, allowing users to create and collaborate in the meeting and beyond.”

“The Post-it Brand is committed to providing tools that help people express ideas and collaborate in a modern way. Now, the Post-it App allows all of those ideas that are hand-written on Post-it Notes to be captured and easily transferred to digital tools so organization, sharing and ideation don’t have to end, just because the meeting is over,” said Remi Kent, global business director, Post-it Brand. “Creating an Android version has been one of the top requests from consumers and we are excited to help fuel creativity and action for more users.”

The Post-it App makes it easy to capture ideas instantly and cut out the countless hours spent transcribing notes after a brainstorm. Capturing up to 200 Post-it Notes at a time, the Post-it App allows users to edit notes and add new digital notes utilizing a variety of colors, handwriting styles and text. The digitized notes can be individually moved, arranged and refined on boards so teams can continue to build big ideas and organize notes from brainstorms, meetings and more. With one tap, the organized boards can be shared across teams, allowing anyone to move, add or group notes to continue the collaboration and momentum. The Post-it App creates a shareable record that can be exported to common software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Dropbox and PDF.

“With millions of apps out there, cutting through the clutter with innovation and connecting analog to digital is key,” said Pontus Axelsson, Founder and President of Bontouch, developer of the Post-it App. “The Post-it App creates a seamless experience for Android, from capturing content to sharing and recording ideas, allowing users to create and collaborate in the meeting and beyond.”

The Post-it App recognizes all square Post-it Notes, from 3” x 3” to Post-it Big Notes. The Post-it App for Android is available for free download in the Google Play store by searching “Post-it” or visit Post-it.com/app-android.
