Hamburg is gearing up to host the Rotary International Convention from June 1-5, 2019 with over 25,000 Rotarians from 170 countries expected at the event in the Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH (HMC)
Hamburg, German, May 31, 2019 – Sparrow Data Solutions is pleased to announce they will be in Hamburg, Germany June 1-5 to participate in the 11th World Water Summit and the Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group at the Rotary international conference. As part of the week-long event, WASRAG’s World Water Summit takes place one day before the RI Convention. Sparrow Data’s Martha Rodgers will be participating on a panel about Special Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Additionally, Sparrow Data will be exhibiting all week during the Rotary International Conference and can be found sharing a booth with our colleagues, Sawyer Products (sawyer.com). Attendees are encouraged to visit with Sparrow Data to learn more about increasing donor engagement, retention and acquisition with GIS.
Sparrow launched in 2018 in order to help non-profit organizations collect, process, and report their work to current and potential donors using specialized GIS tools. “We recognized the growing desire of many donors to not only see where their investments are being used but also, to visualize the outcomes of their work. “Unfortunately small NGO’s sometimes struggle to access the same funding that larger NGO’s receive in order to do the critical task of Monitoring and Evaluating their work to show Sustainability. Martha is a certified GISP with over 20 years of GIS experience working in the Commercial, Federal and NonProfit Industries. She worked at Esri for 5 years after graduating from the University at Buffalo and then moved south to attend San Diego State University for her MBA. She has experience as a software developer and has traveled around the world implementing GIS solutions.
Kevin has a dual bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NC State and has worked for over ten years designing systems and products for commercial and non-profit organizations. He is GIS certified and has a broad background of experience including designing explosive test sets, analyzing facility data to better manage remote facilities and the design and testing of water filters.
