Spatial Networks Named a Top Workplace in Tampa, FL

April 5, 2019 By GISuser

Spatial Networks. You know, the cool, yet very busy, GeoTech company in Tampa/St. Pete. You’ve likely become familiar with them over the years, mainly because they really do seem to be everywhere! They’ve also been growing very rapidly so you’ll likely be hearing more and more as the team is very active, very vocal and loves to share the great things the company is accomplishing (eg. see @spatialnetworks on Twitter)

The Spatial Networks Mission: To deliver unrivaled geospatial intelligence solutions from data, technology, and analytics to reveal the unknown.

Well, the company has another feather in their cap, being recognized as a Top Workplace in Tampa, FL.

We’ve been named one of the top small businesses in #TampaBay! https://t.co/mVKrpX188k #TopWorkplace @TopWorkplaces @TB_Times pic.twitter.com/2J7XnYgeeZ

This from the Spatial Networks blog…

It’s such an exciting time for our fast-growing company. We’ve created 13 new positions in the last 12 months (reaching a milestone 50 full-time employees in 2018), and have increased our total revenue by more than 34% in that same time frame.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, which conducts the research for the awards. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

We also received a special acknowledgment from the Times for Best Benefits, which, if you follow our blog, you already know something about.

Our benefits package includes:

  • 100% paid medical premiums for employees and their families
  • 401(k) match (100% up to the IRS maximum)
  • Generous PTO (4 weeks in year 1!)
  • Robust life insurance coverage (3x annual salary)

Spatial Networks also offers professional development opportunities, free Downtown St. Petersburg parking, tickets to sporting events, and all the fresh-ground coffee we can drink!
