11th Annual UAS Summit & Expo to Take Place in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND – (December 1, 2016) – UAS Magazine, in partnership with the Red River Valley Research Corridor, recently announced that the 11th Annual UAS Summit & Expo will take place August 21-23, 2017 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The three-day event, near the center of some of the most prominent UAS activity in the United States, is set to explain and showcase the evolution of UAVs while revealing the current state of the commercial UAS industry. The UAS Summit and Expo will combine the perspective of regional UAS personnel with the regulatory insight of national UAV entities while also offering attendees a glimpse into the commercial realities and major economic opportunities present in the most exciting growth space in North America.

“The UAS industry is in the midst of an economic and technological evolution,” says Luke Geiver, editor of UAS Magazine, “We are excited to once again unite the industry in Grand Forks, a location near the heart of major growth in commercial UAVs and economic opportunities.”

With a history of uniting more than 500 of the best UAV minds in the industry into a single venue, The UAS Summit & Expo will bring together:

Exhibiting companies will be showcasing the latest technologies, new product launches and valuable industry services.

“The 2017 UAS Summit, again will demonstrate the outstanding work completed by North Dakota’s leadership to establish the state as a leader in the UAS industry,” says Dr. Delore Zimmerman, executive director at the Red River Valley Research Corridor. “Similar to last year, the companies who will be represented at the Summit are quickly becoming recognized as the first significantly successful players in the commercialization of the UAS industry.”
