GEO Jobe Welcomes Sean Tucker to Role as Solution Engineer, GIS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oct. 13, 2016 – – GEO Jobe, a leading GIS software and geospatial solutions provider and developers of Admin Tools, Mapfolio, and geopowered cloud for ArcGIS, is pleased to welcome industry veteran, Sean Tucker, to the team in the role as Solution Engineer. Tucker, based in Florida, will be working closely with our teams in Nashville, TN, and Biloxi, MS to assist in configuring, managing and implementing enterprise-grade Web GIS systems. Sean brings broad technical understanding and conceptual appreciation to the Cloud GIS efforts of GEO Jobe.

Sean comes to GEO Jobe with over 20 years of experience in System Architecture, Software & Database Development and GIS Deployment. His experience also includes 14 years in GIS solutions including development, Web GIS deployment, and database administration in state, local and private industry deployments. His past projects cover many disciplines including development for projects in Web GIS, Asset management, transportation, and disaster management.

Prior to joining GEO Jobe, Tucker was a recipient of the Esri Award, New Partner of the Year (2006) and was the co-founder of the Cloud GIS startup, GeoVisus, which was absorbed by Esri in 2010. A believer that GIS should be pervasive – everywhere, anytime, pay-for-what-you-use solution, he is a natural fit with the Geo Jobe philosophy of Powering GIS through Simplicity.
