Google Cloud + Denver-based big data analytics provider (Tectonic)

TECTONIC IS PROVIDING SERVICE FOR GOOGLE CLOUD DATAPROC – Based on Open Source Big Data Software Services Hadoop and Spark, Cloud Dataproc Will Be Added to Tectonic’s Service Offerings

(Denver, CO) March 16, 2016– Tectonic, a premier big data analytics provider renowned for its “Insight2Action” methodology, announced today, the company is providing services for Google’s new Cloud Dataproc.

Google Cloud Dataproc, a managed Hadoop MapReduce, Spark, Pig, and Hive service that allows users to easily process big datasets at low costs, is now generally available. Recently, Cloud Dataproc added several important features including property tuning, VM metadata and tagging, and cluster versioning. It is capable of integrating with other Google Cloud Platform services, such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Bigtable, and BigQuery.
