Sandy, UT- At the 2016 Esri® Partner Conference in Palm Springs, Calif., Esri president and CEO Jack Dangermond presented Cityworks with an award recognizing the two companies’ 20-year partnership. Dangermond paid specific attention to Cityworks’ seamless alignment, corporate dedication, and dependability. The award acknowledges two decades of hard work and dedication that goes above and beyond the standard, further enabling the world leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by helping the company grow in certain markets.

The conference was held at the Palm Springs Convention Center on March 5–7. The award was received by the Cityworks Executive Team led by president and CEO, Brian Haslam.

Cityworks has become the predominant Public Asset Management system and the only solution built exclusively on Esri’s GIS technology. The company has been recognized repeatedly for outstanding achievements and top-level performance and is currently among a small, distinguished group of Platinum Partners.

“Cityworks is the only solution of its kind, designed and built exclusively on Esri’s GIS technology,” said Brian Haslam, president and CEO of Cityworks. “The concept began with the idea of tapping in to the inherent power of using the GIS data as the asset inventory in the day-to-day business of work management. Recognizing the geodatabase as an authoritative system of record, Cityworks revolutionized computer maintenance management by alleviating the redundant data stores and the need for risky synchronization. What we launched with Esri 20 years ago—known today as GIS-centric—has become the gold standard for organizations that own and care for public infrastructure and property. We’re proud to share this relationship and this recognition with our friends and colleagues at Esri.”

Cityworks is currently Empowering GIS™ at more than 600 sites around the world.

About CityworksSince 1996, Cityworks® has been streamlining the way agencies manage public infrastructure and property. Built exclusively on Esri’s ArcGIS technology, the Cityworks GIS-centric platform leverages the authoritative asset inventory maintained in the geodatabase to manage workflow, schedule resources and prioritize activities—saving time and money while improving operational efficiencies. Time-tested and proven technology, Cityworks is Empowering GIS® at more than 600 user sites around the world.
