8over8 to participate at The Middle East Rail 2016

March 4, 2016 By GISuser

The company will demonstrate how their contract risk management solution can advance the standard and success of rail related projects.

2016-03-04 09_01_13-Building iconic railway networks across the Arab world _ Middle East Rail 2016
The Middle East Rail 2016 on 8th-9th March will welcome over 9,000 attendees from all over the world at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The 10th annual event is seen as a leading forum for industry practitioners to come and learn how to develop smart and world class transportation projects throughout the Arab world.

With $300bn worth of rail projects in the pipeline, the opportunity is significant but the complexity can’t be underestimated. Having been involved in delivering some of the most complex projects globally, 8over8 recognises this challenge and will be at hand to discuss and showcase its robust contract risk management platform tailored to the needs of large, capex transportation initiatives.

The 8over8’s presentation ‘Total contract control for rail projects’ delivered by Mounir Boemond, Regional Manager will focus on:

8over8 customer experience shows that on large infrastructure projects, hundreds of millions of dollars can be saved if a project adopts complete contract control best practices to manage all communications where important contractual matters are discussed and agreed. This adoption supports successful contract change management, improved contractual obligation compliance and enhances the ability to successfully defend yourself against future claims while complying with industry standards such as FIDIC & NEC3.

The attendees will also be able to see ProCon, the 8over8’s contract management software in action and learn how the solution can help minimize risk and manage claims in complex transport projects, ensuring that such projects are completed on time and on budget. Joining 8over8 will be leading experts within the industry such as Oman Rail, Transport for London, Indian Railways, Siemens Middle East, Qatar Rail and many more at the Middle East and North Africa’s largest Railway community gathering. Tickets to the event are available to purchase directly through the Middle East Rail website.
