Smart mapping from Esri is a new capability that takes the guesswork out of the process of creating attractive and relevant web maps. Built into Esri’s ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS for Server technology, the smart mapping workflow is based on the philosophy that making maps that are both beautiful and meaningful should be easy for everyone.
To familiarize you with smart mapping, Esri will host a free live training seminar Create Data Visualizations Using Smart Mapping in ArcGISon February 11, 2016.
