New program offers an enhanced learning platform for national university students around the globe
SEATTLE, Wash. — Nov. 12, 2015 — LizardTech®, the creator of MrSID® and provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced today it has made its line of geospatial software available to national university students worldwide through the new National University Subscription Program (NUSp).
“LizardTech is rolling out this new National University program to benefit students and faculty in geospatial-oriented programs globally, where maintaining geospatial capacity is their top priority,” said Jeff Young, LizardTech’s Global Business Development Manager.
LizardTech’s National Universities Subscription Program will prepare students to work effectively and efficiently in remote sensing and related geospatial careers, such as the geosciences, technology, government, engineering, policy-making business and the overall science research community. With LizardTech’s GeoExpress®9.5, ExpressServer®, and GeoViewer, satellite, airborne, UAS platforms and terrestrial imagery and LiDAR data sets can be seamlessly manipulated, mosaicked, analyzed and visualized.
