The Living Atlas of the World is a large and growing collection of geographic content including ready-to-use maps, layers, apps, and scenes provided by Esri and its partners and product users.

The Living Atlas of the World is available through ArcGIS Online and includes thousands of beautiful and authoritative maps on topics as diverse as transportation networks, traffic flow, open space, housing density, natural disasters, live weather, 3D cityscapes, average household income, culture, travel, and history.
You can access the online maps and layers, along with capabilities such as geocoding and routing, for use in your desktop, server, mobile, and web mapping applications.
After viewing the seminar, you will understand how to
- Access content from the Living Atlas of the World.
- Use the content in your own maps and apps for display and analysis.
- Contribute your organization’s authoritative content to the Living Atlas of the World.
This seminar is open to everyone interested in using the Living Atlas of the World. GIS managers and analysts who use ArcGIS for Desktop, the ArcGIS Pro application, and ArcGIS Online will find the session especially useful.
