This presentation will provide an overview of how and why the company relies on Blue Marble’s GeoCalc coordinate object library for use in their Electronic Field Study software along with the Geographic Calculator for quality assurance and testing. The talk will discuss how and why GeoCalc libraries are also used by Pictometry. Pictometry also uses Global Mapper software in their imagery production workflows and the company recently entered into an enterprise license agreement that provides all employees with unlimited access to the software as well as all software updates upon release. This talk will explore how Blue Marble software has helped Pictometry continue to produce top quality data products, and to introduce powerful and more efficient processes moving forward.
