(NASDAQ: GRMN), the global leader in satellite navigation, today announced that it will open new brick-and-mortar stores in the greater Miami area. These Garmin showcases will offer the company’s most popular products, combined with renowned customer service and in-depth, hands-on product demonstrations.

Garmin will open a 2,600 square-foot Garmin store in Miami, located at the Lincoln Road Mall. Located at 511-513 Lincoln Road, this space will allow guests to receive concierge-like customer service while experiencing dozens of different products in the Garmin lineup – including wellness, running, cycling, golfing, marine, automotive, aviation, and outdoor recreation devices. Lincoln Road is a popular pedestrian mall that features an array of high-end brands, galleries, and restaurants.
Also in the greater Miami area, Garmin will open a smaller kiosk-format showcase in the upscale Aventura Mall. Situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Aventura is home to many luxury brands and is the third largest mall in the United States.
For nearly a decade, Garmin has maintained a very popular store in Chicago, located on Michigan Avenue’s “Magnificent Mile.” The company intends to maintain its presence in Chicago.
