Dev Tip – Esri Health and Climate App Challenge

June 26, 2015 By GISuser

Esri is reaching out to developers who are interested in making a difference – Enter the Health and Climate App Challenge

Dev Tip - Esri Health and Climate App Challenge

Participants are encouraged to create apps that help hospitals and health systems understand the impacts of climate change on the health of their communities, and drive action to meet the population’s needs. The app challenge is your opportunity to turn the data found in this site into information people can use! The challenge is open to everyone. Join the data you discover with Esri technology and enter your app in the challenge.

This from Esri…

We’ve got a lot to learn about how the changing environment affects our health. Here’s your chance to build a GIS app that stuns the senses and changes the health landscape.  The hard part is deciding just which one of the ArcGIS tools to highlight…Smart Mapping, Web App Builder, Runtime, JavaScript API, Desktop…the possibilities! Enter here!
Tell a Story
The ArcGIS platform allows maps to do more than point out location.  Empower people to take control of the their health with the ArcGIS Developer Platform and Open Data Resources! Build maps and apps that tell the stories that can help us understand the relationship between climate and health…

Earn Prizes
Your design and coding skills could earn prizes (and admiration). Esri challenges any and all geo developers to make brilliant, interactive, meaningful mapping applications that showcase health and climate data and the power of ArcGIS.
