The VUX-1 is a very lightweight and compact LiDAR scanner, designed to be mounted in any orientation and even under limited weight and space conditions. The VUX-1 was developed as an innovative, new class of LiDAR sensor to meet the challenges of emerging surveying solutions by UAS, UAV, RPAS, gyrocopters, and ultra-light aircraft, both in measurement performance and in system integration. In the first year after the official product introduction at ILMF 2014, over 30 RIEGL VUX-1 LiDAR sensors have been shipped and successfully employed by customers around the world!
