April 2, 2015 By GISuser

Company to provide federal agencies with easier means to procure a wide variety of technology solutions and services, including hardware, software, networking equipment, storage and cloud-based services

Herndon, VA — (April 2, 2015) — DLT Solutions, a leading value-added reseller in government information technology (IT), today announced that it was awarded two NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP V) Contracts under Group A and Group D. NASA originally announced the winners of SEWP V back in September 2014. After completing the updated selection process, DLT Solutions is honored to once again be selected to deliver on the SEWP mission of best value and cost savings.

According to NASA, “SEWP V contracts streamline the process of providing federal agencies with state-of-the-art tablets, desktops and servers; IT peripherals; network equipment; storage systems; security tools; software products; cloud-based services; video conferencing systems, and other IT and audio-visual products; as well as related services such as installation, training and maintenance”. The contracts are firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, with a $25 minimum per order of supplies or services, and a per contract maximum of $20 billion.

All federal agencies and their contractors can place orders through this Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC). NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, procures and manages the SEWP V effort.

“Dating back to 1993, the NASA SEWP contract has proven to be one of the most compelling contracts for government agencies to acquire a broad set of technologies at competitive pricing. As a previous SEWP holder, DLT Solutions is pleased to be partnering again with NASA and this successful government-wide contract,” explained Brian Strosser, executive vice president of sales and marketing for DLT Solutions. “With more than 23 years of experience in the federal space, this win demonstrates our commitment to provide federal IT customers with the experience necessary to provide the mission-critical solutions they need at the most affordable prices.”

Each contract will have a 10-year effective ordering period, including a five-year base period from May 1 to April 31, 2020, and one five-year option to extend the period of performance through April 30, 2025.
