Costa Mesa, CA – April 29, 2015 – Paradigm Imaging Group participated with SID Signs at the 2015 ISA International Sign and to much delight, their booth was busy with show attendees eager to see what new exciting products SID Signs had on the show floor, even making sales on the spot!
Much interest was around the new SID Apollo UV Flatbed Printer. Its 51” x 49” print area and maximum media height of 1.6” make the printer an outstanding choice for print providers looking to enter the UV market at a very affordable price. The white ink option (spot, background or overprint layers) allows printing on a broad range of substrates. Printing demonstrations were provided on how well the Apollo UV printer was able to print on glass and wood.
In addition, the new SID Laser Engraver XL 1390 – 100W provided impressive samples of cut or engraved materials such as acrylic, wood, and leather. The SID XL Series Laser Engravers are capable of being used on a wide range of applications including engraved awards, specialty displays, architectural, safety and directional signage.
Stopping traffic was also the new SID SL 1600-EW Cold Laminator (heat assisted). Built tough to last and affordably priced, the SL 1600-EW Laminator is a must-have for finishing your wide format graphics. It has been designed to make the application of pressure sensitive laminates easier. With faster laminations speeds, it can eliminate silvering, bubbles and wrinkles by applying heat when needed. This was a hot seller at the show!
Along with the new equipment presented at the show, also on the show floor was SID Triton S 320 126” Printer. The S 320 is first 126-inch eco solvent printer in the already well established SID Triton printer lineup which features a dual Epson four-color print heads which is adjustable up to .25” to accommodate thicker media and ink prices at only $65 per liter.
