Orbit GT direct export included in RIEGL RiPROCESS release

February 13, 2015 By GISuser

Orbit GT is pleased to announce the RIEGL’s newest release of RiPROCESS standard includes direct export to the Orbit software portfolio.

“We are very pleased that RIEGL has included a direct export to the Orbit formats and specifications in the latest RiPROCESS release“, says Peter Bonne, CEO at Orbit GT. “This export function will gain much time and effort for RIEGL system owners to export their data and load into an Orbit product. Thisnew tool is much more than just a format, as it adds all details of the data collection configuration for optimal support in Orbit. Also, it exports spherical imagery to the equirectangular standard delivering access to high quality data through an intuitive interface.”

Christian Sevcik, Manager Strategic Software Alliances at RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH: “With the latest release of RiPROCESS we are glad to announce the support of the Orbit GT software portfolio. We believe this direct link between the RIEGL and Orbit GT software is a very attractive solution to bring mobile mapping survey data to a GIS environment. The Orbit GT software products enables service providers and end user to easily share and access the high resolution RIEGL data on various platforms and devices. ”
