GoGeomatics Canada is offering resume writing services for geospatial professionals

February 23, 2015 By GISuser

GoGeomatics Canada recently launched a new service for job seekers looking for work in geomatics, GIS, remote sensing, surveying, cartography, and other related fields. Their Geospatial Resume and Cover Letter Writing Services are designed to offer an effective, affordable approach to help geospatial job seekers find employment, regardless of where they are located.

“The job market is a tough place right now, especially for young people looking for work,” says Jonathan Murphy, Managing Director of GoGeomatics. “With this service, we’re offering our expertise in both geomatics and human resources to help job seekers make the best first impression possible.”

The inspiration to offer resume and cover letter writing services specifically to geospatial professionals came from the huge demand for the GoGeomatics Career Seminars held in Calgary, Toronto, and Ottawa last fall and winter. It was simply not possible to make it out to everyone who was interested in attending, and so GoGeomatics went online to reach a wider audience.

This service was launched in early February 2015, and has already seen a large demand from people in all stages of their careers, from new graduates, to GIS professionals with over twenty years of work experience.

There are three packages available for purchase on the GoGeomatics website: Resume Writing, Cover Letter Writing, or the Combined Resume/Cover Letter Service, at the best value. This service can be used either to create a template to use in the job search, or to create a customized resume/cover letter when applying to a specific job posting. A professional writer from GoGeomatics will work with you, via email, to create a resume and cover letter that best meets your needs.

Discounted pricing for students expires on April 15. GoGeomatics invites current students to email at info@gogeomatics.ca to inquire about student discounts.
