LizardTech Announces New Global Business Development Manager

SEATTLE, Wash. – January 15, 2015 – LizardTech®, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced today that Jeff Young will expand his role to become the company’s new global business development manager for geospatial solutions, effective immediately. Young will support the company’s commitment to the growth of its Express Suite line of geospatial products.

Young joined LizardTech in 2009 as the business development manager, a role which he will now continue while also leading the regional and international sales teams.  Prior to joining LizardTech, Young held positions in business development, consulting and sales with several geospatial companies such as Leica Geosystems, Space Imaging and Bentley Systems.

“I am very excited to expand my role with LizardTech and for the opportunity to build LizardTech’s global reach,” said Jeff Young, LizardTech’s global business development manager. “This is an exciting time for LizardTech, and I look forward to further contributing to LizardTech’s sustained growth, product expansions and innovative geospatial workflow solutions.”

Jeff Young obtained a bachelor of science degree in Geography from Lock Haven State College and a master of arts degree in Geography from Arizona State University.  Young has over 30 years of experience in the GIS industry and is currently serving as National Director for the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing for the Rocky Mountain Region. In addition, Young is an active member of both the American Association of Geographers and the Cartography and Geographic Information Society.
