Leading tech market brand hails emapsite as Little British Battler

November 12, 2014 By GISuser

One of the UK’s leading sources of tech market research and analysis has officially recognised emapsite as an innovative business exemplar.

TechMarketView has included the location content and services provider on its prestigious list of ‘Little British Battlers’.

These are small companies, with annual revenues of up to £25 million, seen to be punching above their weight in tech disciplines.

It is the fifth time that TechMarketView has narrowed a national field of entries down to just 12 small, privately held IT-based firms to hold the title.

James Cutler, emapsite’s Chief Executive, said: “This is a real feather in our cap acknowledging that we have battled through three recessions since we formed in 2000 and have grown our business all the way. Successful applicants in previous years have been active in everything from big data analytics and business process automation through to cyber security. We are thrilled that our work in B2B and B2G location content and services is being recognised by TechMarketView.”

The accolade means that an emapsite team is invited to present to a panel of tech industry analysts and receive their expert feedback.

Presentations, held in closed session, offer a rare chance for unbiased opinion on company performance to date and market propositions now and for the future.

Participants are also featured on www.techmarketview.com and included in a special research report distributed to selected ‘movers and shakers’ in industry and government.

The TechMarketView Little British Battlers Day, in association with corporate finance firm MXC Capital, takes place in central London on Wednesday, 26 November, 2014. For more information, use the hashtag #LittleBritishBattler.

The Little British Battler title is the latest in a series of successes for the emapsite team. In July, they gained formal ISO certification for both quality control and information security.

Two months earlier, the company reinforced its cloud hosting credentials in the public sector with a place on G-Cloud 5, the latest version of the UK government’s CloudStore online procurement catalogue.
