Contex Launches All New ScanStation Designed to Boost Workflow Productivity by 30%

November 5, 2014 By GISuser

Wide format scanning solution boasts REimage, an exclusive feature that saves raw scan data for future editing without rescanning

Allerød, Denmark – November 5, 2014 — Contex, the world’s leader of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announces the launch of the all new ScanStation, a full featured productivity solution for professional scanning and copying workflows. The ScanStation solution is designed to improve workflow productivity by up to 30% by providing users the tools they need to quickly and easily capture high quality scans, while reducing document handling. The solution includes a full-featured, all-in-one controller with Intel Core i7 processor and multi-touch screen functionality. The solution also boasts REimage technology from Contex, the market’s first productivity-boosting scanning capability. The Contex ScanStation is available for purchase today from authorized Contex distributors and resellers worldwide.

Unlike any other product in the market, REimage provides users with an unprecedented ability to go back to a scan’s raw data to capture specific content, eliminating the need to rescan documents. For example, if a change needs to be made to a scanned image after originals are returned to storage, REimage allows users to retrieve the raw data versus rescanning the original document. This unique, time-saving feature is exclusive to the ScanStation solution and Contex wide format scanners.

“The new ScanStation is for loyal customers who are looking to improve their overall productivity. It will have a tremendous impact on the way they operate by helping them to spend less time scanning documents,” comments Morten Nielsen, Global Marketing Director, Contex A/S. “To develop this product, we listened closely to our customers and the result is a powerful solution unlike any other in the market.
