Michael Baker International Appoints Senior Technical Manager in Great Lakes Region

Michael Baker International has announced the addition of Mark Hoskins, PE, CFM, as Senior Technical Manager to further expand the Water practice in Chicago, Illinois. In this key position, Mr. Hoskins will utilize his 32 years of experience in civil site drainage in the Chicagoland and the Great Lakes region.

Mr. Hoskins has worked for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources as a Stormwater Permit Reviewer and serves as an instructor for Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM), having taught several hundred CFMs over the last 11 years. Hoskins has a strong background in education and outreach regarding water and environmental issues and he regularly participates in and helps organize public forums, events and seminars.

Mr. Hoskins has successfully delivered countless drainage designs, watershed models, floodplain maps, wetland mitigations and hydraulic reports on projects ranging from the simplest to the most complex. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Iowa and Maryland. Mr. Hoskins earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Connecticut after completing his Biology and Environmental Science degree from Principia College.
