Extends Home or Office Number to Any iOS or Android Phone – Unrivaled $35 Year Service Provides One Phone Number Available Anywhere — Service To Be Sold at Walmart, RadioShack, Best Buy, Target, Fry’s and Directly Through magicJack.com

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida and JERUSALEM, July 8, 2014 – magicJack VocalTec, Ltd (Nasdaq:CALL), a leading cloud-based communications company, today announced the launch of the magicJackGO, an ultra low cost voice service that provides customers with a single number that can be used on both traditional phones and smartphones, including iPhone® and Android™ devices. The magicJackGO is available for $59.95, which includes a phone number, the magicJackGO device for home/office, the magicApp free calling companion app and one year of unlimited calling in the U.S. and Canada. A limited launch promotion also includes a $10 credit that can be redeemed for other value-add services such as number porting, custom phone numbers and international calling services.

“magicJackGO delivers a simple and affordable phone service with unrivaled value to consumers looking to save on their phone bills,” said Gerald Vento, CEO of magicJack VocalTec. “magicJackGO extends the compelling value of our existing service with an integrated mobile app that enables users to have their number with them while on-the-go. Anyone still paying any of the ‘big guys’ for a basic home or office phone service can instantly save when converting to magicJackGO for only $35 a year.”

The launch of magicJackGO highlights the company’s repositioning of the magicJack low cost phone service, designed to broaden the appeal of the company’s unrivaled value priced offer and extend the functionality of the service to mobile consumers.

“We designed the magicJackGO with the value conscious mobile consumer in mind by providing the ability to take your number with you on-the-go via the magicApp,” said Timothy McDonald, COO of magicJack. “Mobility is increasingly important for busy moms, small businesses owners, freelancers, international callers or anyone who simply can’t afford to miss a call.”

Throughout the first half of 2014, the Company has been preparing for the launch of magicJackGO with longstanding retail partners Walmart, RadioShack, Best Buy, Target and Fry’s. These retailers accounted for more than 90 percent of retail sales in 2012 and 2013 and are supporting the launch of the magicJackGO with improved in-store merchandising footprints for increased visibility of the product.

“We appreciate the significant support we’ve received from our distribution partners as evidenced by their initial orders and investment in expanding our in-store presence in support of the MagicJackGO. No other product in our category can match our breadth of retail distribution,” said McDonald.

The magicJackGO is available at magicJack.com and is rolling into retail stores now. The new over-the-top app for free calling, magicApp, is available for free download in iTunes and Google Play. The two work together or independently, offering ultra-low cost calling options as well as one number for use at home, in the office and on the go via mobile devices.

The magicJackGO device uses a broadband connection in the home or office for unlimited calls in the U.S. and Canada, as well as free international calls back to the U.S. from anywhere in the world. magicJackGO includes 12 months of unlimited local and long distance calling to the U.S. and Canada, a free conference call number, improved call quality and ultra-low pricing at just $59.95. After the first year, the same great service is only $35 per year, less than $3 a month, and also provides free call waiting, call forwarding, 411, voicemail and caller ID. magicJackGO can be set up in two easy steps: connect GO to an existing high-speed Internet connection and then to an existing home or office phone and start calling! Existing numbers can be ported to magicJack for a one-time fee of $10.

Unlike many free app competitors, magicApp connects users with any landline or mobile subscriber worldwide, not merely other app users. The updated over-the-top free calling app, magicApp, uses 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi and is available as a free download in the iTunes and Google Play stores. It serves as a companion to the magicJackGO device, giving users access to the same number they use for home or office on their mobile device. magicApp can also work independently from the device, providing a low or no-cost option for international calling and a second number for consumers – all without using mobile minutes or a voice plan. magicApp integrates easily with existing mobile devices, such as importing the contact list, and has already been downloaded by millions of users.
