Real-time video from TrafficLand’s international cameras is added to IDV Solutions’ Visual Command Center, offering customers increased situational awareness
Fairfax, Virginia, and Lansing, Michigan, June 23, 2014 — TrafficLand®, the largest authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S., and software company IDV Solutions announced the expansion of their business partnership; in addition to video from TrafficLand’s national network of 18,000 roadside cameras, IDV Solutions now offers video from TrafficLand’s international cameras in its Visual Command Center enterprise risk visualization software.
The integration of TrafficLand network video with Visual Command Center helps provide security operators with real-time information about risks to their operations, threats to their personnel, and interruptions to their supply lines.
Security operations teams at Global 2000 corporations and government organizations use Visual Command Center to obtain a single, integrated picture of their asset locations and potential threats to those assets. Visual Command Center consolidates information about risk events—such as acts of terrorism, severe weather, civil unrest, and disease outbreaks—with data from an organization’s internal systems and other sources, on an interactive map and timeline.
When Visual Command Center detects a potential threat near an asset or employee location, it automatically alerts operators, who can use powerful visualization, filtering, and query tools to assess the threat, and then act to mitigate risk.
