A Complete Community Engagement and Communication Solution

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 2, 2014—Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced that Trimble® Feedback, a cloud-based community engagement solution is now available to local governments through select geospatial distribution partners.

Trimble Feedback is a convenient interactive communication channel for local governments to connect with their community, improve levels of service and plan for the future. Through configurable web and mobile interfaces, service requests can be quickly reported, assigned, prioritized and resolved. Planning projects can be efficiently facilitated to gather community input. Large-scale crowdsourcing initiatives, to gather feedback and information from citizens, can be easily accommodated to increase public input on government projects and services.

With one system, Trimble Feedback consolidates the community engagement process and streamlines communication. The solution is ideal for a range of activities such as soliciting input on plans for new bus or cycle routes, reporting civic issues such as incidences of illegal litter dumping or graffiti, and more.

Today, citizens are asking for more efficient, open and direct communication from their local government. With Trimble Feedback, local governments can manage all aspects of community engagement and operational communication while keeping residents informed throughout the process.

"Local governments continuously receive enormous amounts of community input that can have a big impact if handled well," said Rick Gosalvez, market manager for Trimble’s Local Government, Geospatial Division. "Trimble Feedback can help local governments consolidate and manage feedback to better service their communities."
