NAVITEL has released updated Q1 2014 maps of Belarus, Germany, Poland

The Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk is approaching, and the map of Belarus has been updated accordingly. The map includes all sports, housing, cultural sites and eating places. Road networks of Minsk and Belarus have also been updated taking into account new sports facilities.

New 3D models have been added:
Minsk: Chyzhouka-Arena, Crowne Plaza Minsk, Hotel Europe, Hotel Victoria.
Brest: Brest Fortress Gates.
Gomel: Rumyantsev Palace.
Grodno: St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.

The map of Belarus includes plans of 22 873 cities, towns and other settlements, providing road networks and allowing address search for 722 of them. It also contains 60 883 POI, and the length of road graph is 284 321 km.

Germany
The map of Germany shows contours of most buildings and allows address search in all settlements in the country, this making possible more precise setting of the destination point. The total number of buildings, the contours of which are now shown in the map, is 51 213 596. Address data have been updated and specified.

The map of Germany includes plans of 64 625 cities, towns and other settlements, providing road networks and allowing address search 15 489 of them. It also contains 1 628 960 POI, and the length of road graph is 1 153 886 km.

Poland
The road network and address database have been essentially updated in the new map, and 4 665 POI were added, increasing the total number of POI in the map up to 229 022 POI. Road network updates also include new automobile roads, which were built in late 2013 and early 2014.

50 new 3D models have been added to the map, including those listed below and many other architecturally important sites.
Warsaw: The National Stadium, Wola Park.
Lodz: Izrael Poznański’s Palace, Santa Teresa and St. John Bosco Church, Ibis Hotel.
Krakow: the Jagiellonian University, Barbakan, Wawel, St. Mary’s Basilica, St. Florian’s Gate, the Cloth Hall, the National Museum, Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, AGH University of Science and Technology, University of Agriculture, Hotel Sheraton, Pauline Fathers Monastery, Camaldolese Hermit Monastery, Hotel Forum, the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, Galeria Krakowska, Multikino, Bonarka City Centre.

The map of Poland includes plans of 62 266 cities, towns and other settlements, providing road networks and allowing address search for 6 861 of them. The length of road graph is 692 127 km.

All maps include residential and industrial areas of settlements, and detailed road networks including all streets and roads with indication of traffic directions, road interchanges, roundabouts and other important road information.
