Maximize Your GNSS Handheld Device with Laser Offsets

May 1, 2014 By Editor

April 21, 2014 Centennial, CO — Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI), designer and manufacturer of the popular TruPulse® line of laser mapping products, is sponsoring a Directions Magazine hosted webinar on Tuesday, May 13th 2014, 12:00 pm GMT. Titled “Maximize Your Current GNSS Handheld Device with Laser Offsets – Don’t Replace It, Enhance It,” this webinar will offer guidance for determining the best solution for laser-based field measurements and mapping, especially if the user wants to integrate with existing equipment and software.

The webinar topics will include accuracy tolerances with field measurement tools, total cost of ownership and training to enhance your mobile mapping system.  It also will address current equipment and software compatibility, workflow efficiency, level of portability and overall user experience. Speakers Derrick Reish, Professional Measurement Product Manager, and Paul Adkins, Marketing Communications Manager, will talk about 3-D measurements and offset mapping that are affordable and achievable with a high rate of consistency and repeatability.

LTI invented the first reflectorless, handheld total station 16 years ago and has been the leading innovator for over 28 years. Owner of over 64 laser- and compass-based patents worldwide, and being the only manufacturer to create a compass laser without tilt or pitch limitations, LTI leads the industry in professional measurement and mapping tools.

Mobile mapping technology has come a long way. The use of laser rangefinders for field measurements and GPS offsets is increasing every day. GIS managers, specialists, field technicians and anyone who uses hand-held devices for field measurement can benefit from attending this live webinar.  Register and join us live on May 13, 2014 to learn how to maximize current equipment.
