Esri is making ArcGIS Online Organization subscriptions available for instructional use at no cost to any US school

Esri is making ArcGIS Online Organization subscriptions available for instructional use at no cost to any US school. Because of what we have seen from hundreds of pilot schools across the country, we believe strongly that this can make a difference in education. But it’s not just making tools available. We are working with GISCI to promote geomentoring. We are encouraging the many thousands who use our software professionally or in college to work with local schools and educators. We are working with National Geographic to encourage educators to seek actively the support of a geomentor. We will encourage the states with licenses, and T3G Institute alums, and beyond, to use these tools in training experiences for educators. And there are resources in place to help anyone who wants to start on their own.
