SIGMA3 Announces Janet McGuire as Denver Operations Manager for Microseismic and Borehole Seismic Im

April 22, 2014 By Editor

HOUSTON, TX–(Marketwired – April 22, 2014) – Sigma Cubed Inc. (SIGMA3) announces the appointment of Janet McGuire as Denver Operations Manager forMicroseismic and Borehole Seismic Imaging (MS/BSI). She will take the lead in streamlining a growing influx of time-sensitive microseismic and borehole seismic imaging projects to enable clients to perform the most effective stimulation and completions programs.

With more than 22 years of seismic processing and senior management experience in the upstream E&P industry, McGuire will cultivate the infrastructure to handle MS/BSI projects of increasing number and scale, while reducing cycle time and improving quality through new understanding of what microseismic data reveals about the subsurface. She will be based in the Englewood, CO office.

"Clients are working against increasingly compressed timelines, and the value of information that we deliver is directly correlated to the speed and reliability of our processing workflows," says Scott Taylor, Global Manager of Seismic Processing at SIGMA3. "Janet has both the technical expertise and management savvy to improve the velocity of our products and services and help get the most reliable answers into the hands of our clients."

McGuire most recently served as Vice President of Operations and General Manager at Summit Geophysical LLC, where she directed multiple operational areas, including processing, sales and licensing, and quality control. Prior to this, she spent 14 years at ECHO Geophysical Corporation (acquired by Summit Geophysical in 2013), most recently as Vice President of Operations, where she managed processing operations, and implemented the company’s QC protocols. She began her career at Western Geophysical Corporation as a Geophysical Analyst. McGuire holds B.A. in Geography from Southwest Texas State University where she graduated magna cum laude in 1991.
