Herndon, VA — (April 28, 2014) — DLT Solutions, a leading value-added reseller in government information technology (IT) software and services, announced a new agreement with SolarWinds today to create a new channel program focused on growing their overall channel revenue in the federal government market.
The program further cements DLT Solutions’ commitment to SolarWinds and establishes the company as the primary federal demand generator and distributor of SolarWinds’ leading IT management solutions.
“DLT and SolarWinds became partners in 2007 with the intent to grow SolarWinds’ footprint in the federal government,” explained Chris Dewey, senior vice president of the Infrastructure and Peripherals Division at DLT Solutions. “We have the public sector knowledge, contracts portfolio, and federal demand generation experience to strategically promote SolarWinds within the public sector space and help guide them in this aggressive growth opportunity.”
Through this new channel program, DLT Solutions will recruit and enlist public sector resellers and subsequently provide them with training, sales certifications, marketing programs/support discounted pricing, and sales incentives. To manage the program, DLT Solutions has hired Hayley Miller, who will work directly with resellers, SolarWinds and the dedicated sales team at DLT Solutions.
“I am very excited to take part in managing and launching the SolarWinds Partner Program for DLT,” explained Hayley Miller, SolarWinds channel development manager for DLT Solutions. “This program will not only enable SolarWinds’ partners and resellers through marketing funds and training initiatives, but will provide them with the sales resources and competitive pricing to stay competitive in the federal marketplace. We are confident the program will gain traction with the federal reseller community to enhance their growth by adopting SolarWinds products into their solution portfolio.”
“SolarWinds’ increasing success in the federal government ensures we are keenly aware of the challenges government IT professionals face with increased security demands, compliance requirements, and tight budgets,” said David Kimball, VP of Federal, SolarWinds. “By enhancing our relationship with our partner community through DLT, we reaffirm our commitment to the channel by providing program participants with the infrastructure support needed to build a practice around SolarWinds’ easy-to-use IT management solutions that government agencies need to better support end users and maintain secure infrastructures.”
