US Navy sources sought notice request for information (RFI) Geospatial Intelligence Software

This sources sought notice is a request for information (RFI) for acquisition planning purposes only. This is not a request for proposals, proposal abstracts, quotations or obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. This RFI is for market research purposes only to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and to explore industry capabilities. A response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of contractor submission of information to this announcement or the Government use of such information. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The information provided may be used by the Naval Special Warfare Command in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work and performance specifications.

Responses to this RFI will be used by the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) to identify sources that can provide commercial off the shelf (COTS) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) desktop, server-based and portal software products, to include software licenses, upgrades, and maintenance services, with capabilities that enable analysts to process raw data and produce tailored GEOINT products through mapping and spatial analysis of geographic information.

The minimum capabilities required include the following:
