Echosec Social Search Engine Gets Updated Map Search Functionality

Recently, Echosec announced an update that enables users to narrow and refine their spatial search with much greater precision. Using advanced spatial restrictions to the search criteria, users are now able to define the extent of a search on the map by drawing a bounding rectangle, defining a circular region or drawing a bounding rectangle. By selecting the appropriate search tool the user can narrow the results to a much finer, more accurate region providing results that are much more precise and useful.

EchoSec’s unique way of harvesting and displaying dynamic and user-generated content from sites like Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram, gives EchoSec a completely unfiltered and real-time view of the world.
